RoadTripSports.com associate publisher Chuck Cox went to North Carolina last month for the Belk Bowl. While he was out in the Tar Heel State Cox hit the road and drove around the state getting in as many college campuses as he could. Today’s stop is North Carolina Central University. Here’s Chuck’s take:
Founded in 1910, NCCU is a public, historically black college located in Durham. Future president Woodrow Wilson contributed financial support for the institution’s initial funding. The Eagles play Division I athletics, including football in the Football Championship Subdivision.
It was a beautiful day for photos and Chuck took some great ones.
More to come from Cox’s excursion to North Carolina coming soon.
Until next time …
