RoadTripSports is gearing up for the release of College Football America (in fact I’m taking a break from verifying FCS schedules. Yes, my life is so exciting). We think the book is going to be worth your time. But more on that next week.
Right now it’s back to Postcard of the Day after a hiatus. Malone Stadium, in Monroe, La., is the home of the ULM Warhawks, who hope to return to a bowl game for the second straight year. More on the Warhawks:
ULM has the league’s top signal-caller in Kolton Browning to lead an offense that returns seven starters including four on one of the league’s best offensive lines. With nine starters back on defense led by safety Isaiah Newsome, the Warhawks might be ready to claim their first title since sharing the 2005 championship with Arkansas State and Louisiana-Lafayette.
If you’re in Monroe, La., on a Saturday this fall, give the Warhawks and Malone Stadium a look.
Until next time …
