DURANT, OK — East Central University made it four straight wins over Southeastern Oklahoma with a 23-16 victory in the second-oldest rivalry in Oklahoma college football on Saturday at Paul Laird Field.

It was the 97th meeting between ECU’s Tigers and SEOU’s Savage Storm. And it gave ECU a 46-45-6 advantage in the series.

After the teams battled to a 9-9 halftime tie, the Tigers (5-5, 5-5) got a pair of touchdowns — one defensive, one offensive — to take a lead they would never surrender.

The Savage Storm (2-9, 2-8) got five catches for 60 yards and a touchdown form Anthony Foster, while the Tigers got four catches for 64 yards and a score from Caleb Holley.
