2014 College Football America FCS Preseason Top 30 Countdown: No. 20 Richmond

Richmond Spiders

College Football America 2014 Yearbook Encyclopedia, the signature publication of RoadTripSports, is proud to unveil its FCS Top 30 preseason football rankings. Richmond is No. 20. From the pages of College Football America:

“The Spiders took a step backwards in 2013. After going 8-3 (6-2) in 2012, Richmond finished an even .500 overall and in conference play. However, the Spiders were competitive in almost every game last season, including a 23-21 loss to N.C. State. In fact, five of Richmond’s seven losses were by seven points or less, including three by two points each. The Spiders aren’t far away from being right in the thick of the conference title chase, and they’ll get an early test against FBS rival Virginia.”
