College Football America’s Chuck Cox was at the Renaissance Hotel Friday morning for the announcement of the 2015 College Football Hall of Fame Class, in conjunction with the College Football Playoff National Championship game festivities.
Players Trev Alberts (Nebraska), Brian Bosworth (Oklahoma), Bob Breunig (Arizona State), Sean Brewer (Millspas), Ruben Brown (Pittsburgh), Wes Chandler (Florida), Thom Gatewood (Notre Dame), Dick Jauron (Yale), Clinton Jones (Michigan State), Lincoln Kennedy (Washington), Rob Lytle (Michigan), Art Still (Kentucky), Zach Thomas (Texas Tech) and Ricky Williams (Texas), along with coaches Bill Snyder (Kansas State) and Jim Tressel (Ohio State, Youngstown State) were all elected.
Bosworth, former Dallas Cowboy Breunig, Kennedy and Snyder were the only four members of the class that were on hand for the announcement.
The new tradition of announcing the College Hall of Fame inductees in the area hosting the title game started this year, with the inaugural College Football Playoff Championship Game set for Monday in Arlington.
The Awards Dinner will be held in New York City.
