And Bruce Carter make it four free agents lost. Carter signed a four-year deal with Tampa Bay on Wednesday. Carter himself isn’t a huge loss. He’s been inconsistent throughout his career in Dallas. But on the heels of the loss of Justin Durant to Atlanta the defensive side of the football is reeling and linebacker is now a primary need.

By the way, the Bucs agreed to a $20 million deal with Carter, which given his production and consistency in Dallas is well over what the Cowboys should have paid. So good luck to him. Durant’s deal was a little more reasonable. ESPNDallas.com reported it as a three-year, $10.8 million deal.
