My grade for the Dallas Cowboys in this draft is a B. I feel they drafted four players that can help them in some way this year — cornerback Byron Jones, defensive end Randy Gregory, offensive tackle Chaz Green and linebacker Damien Wilson. The other four players are strictly projects. Jones and Gregory feel like players that could start on opening day but will more likely see heavy rotation time. Green will make the roster and back up the tackles. Wilson will make the roster and back up the linebackers, along with some special teams duties.
The key to this draft’s long-term grade is Gregory. He must be a viable part of this team for the length of his rookie deal.
