First and 10: Dallas Cowboys Rookie Mini-Camp is done.

Randy Gregory is “a little out of shape.” He admitted as much after his first rookie camp practice on Friday. He left early with dehydration — it was in the mid-80s outside.

So Gregory managed to create questions about the one thing that no one seemed to have questions about this offseason — his physical shape. Nice start, Randy. Now go run some wind sprints.

Note: Third-round pick Chaz Green also left with dehydration. So at least Randy Gregory has a running buddy now.

DallasCowboys.com’s Bryan Broaddus pointed out on Saturday that Gregory had a much better day. He showed the straight-line speed that intrigued scouts. He did write that defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli has some work ahead of him, as Gregory’s counter-moves did not seem NFL ready.
