May 29 marks 98 days to the start of the major college football season on Sept. 3, 2015. Every day leading up to kickoff to the 2015 season we’ll take you back to a photo from our travels last season, a photo that may or may not be in our upcoming publication, the College Football America 2015 Yearbook. The book will be available this summer through Amazon.com, iBooks (please download the iBooks app to purchase and view) and Lulu.com. When the book hits the streets we’ll let you know. It’s the most comprehensive guide to the college football season, with preview information on every conference and every team in every division of the game in a high-quality, all-color presentation. We hope you’ll check it out. Until then check out our 2014 edition at Amazon.com and iBooks.
When you’re shooting games on press credentials you’re usually on the field. But occasionally you’re provided a chance to provide a different perspective. And during my game at the Fargodome last year That’s just what I got. At halftime I moved up to the press box, which at the Fargodome is open air and is more of a baskeball/hockey press box. I was up there to get off my feet and catch a quick halftime meal. By the time I was done the second half had started and I figured, what the heck, I’ll try snapping a few shots up here. And, wouldn’t you know it, I was actually able to get some good stuff.
The photo above is of North Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz, who should be one of the players to watch in FCS this season. Of course, the Bison are seeking their fifth straight national championship in 2015. So you’d be keeping your eyes on them regardless.
Check in with us tomorrow for our next photo in our College Football America Flashback.
