College Football America Flashback: 80 Days to Football

June 16 marks 80 days to the start of the major college football season on Sept. 3, 2015. Every day leading up to kickoff to the 2015 season we’ll take you back to a photo from our travels last season, a photo that may or may not be in our upcoming publication, the College Football America 2015 Yearbook. The book will be available this summer through Amazon.com, iBooks (please download the iBooks app to purchase and view) and Lulu.com. When the book hits the streets we’ll let you know. It’s the most comprehensive guide to the college football season, with preview information on every conference and every team in every division of the game in a high-quality, all-color presentation. We hope you’ll check it out. Until then check out our 2014 edition at Amazon.com and iBooks.

We’re going back to 2013 for this photo. As you might imagine College Football America has a rather robust archive, given that we’ve been shooting games since 2010. Kendall Webb went and shot this Southern Conference showdown between Chattanooga and Samford two years ago and took this great shot of wide receiver Karel Hamilton. I didn’t realize how handy this photo would be two years later, as Hamilton is only a junior at Samford and he led the Bulldogs in receptions (55), receiving yards (877) and touchdown receptions (6) last year. Look for him to be a vital cog in Samford’s hopes of a SoCon championship in 2015.

Check in with us tomorrow for our next photo in our College Football America Flashback.
