DeAndre Jordan finally apologized to Mark Cuban and Dallas Mavericks fans — on Twitter. Because apparently Jordan still doesn’t know how to use the voice function on his phone when it comes to Dallas. The apology read, “I want to publicly apologize to one of the best owners in the world @MCuban, the @DallasMavs and their fans. I am humbled by @DallasMavs & @MCuban kindness and understanding. I am sorry to have a change of heart.”
Well, I guess it’s the thought that counts? Nah, not to Cuban, who, via a Cyberdust statement, maintained that Jordan had not contacted him and pretty much dismissed the apology. Since Cyberdust texts disappear after about 20 seconds, we’re going to take Cuban’s word for it.
But guess who DID call Cuban? DeAndre Jordan’s mother. Seriously? Mama took up for Jordan but he can’t pick up the phone for a five-minute phone conversation? Huge props for Kimberly Jordan for doing what her son could not.
