In the fall, the Delaware Blue Hens are looking to win football games. In the spring, they’re looking to save lives.
The program, along with the University of Delaware Student Nurses Association, recently hosted the seventh annual “Be The Match” bone marrow registry drive. The process of registering takes about 20 minutes and includes filling out paperwork and a cheek swab. Bone marrow donation can help save the lives of patients with life-threatening blood cancers.
