2015 College Football America FCS Preseason Top 30 Countdown: No. 19 Eastern Illinois

Eastern Illinois Panthers

The College Football America 2015 Yearbook, the signature publication of RoadTripSports, is proud to unveil its FCS Top 30 preseason football rankings. The Eastern Illinois Panthers of the Ohio Valley Conference are No. 19.

From the pages of College Football America:

“Last year’s 5-7 belly flop from the heights of the Panthers’ 12-2 finish in 2013 was disappointing if not entirely unexpected. Plenty of talent graduated from that squad, but last year’s rebuild should start to pay dividends in 2015. Dual-threat quarterback Jalen Whitlow threw for 2,075 yards and 15 touchdowns while finishing just five yards behind returning leading rusher Shepard Little (797 yards) with another 12 rushing touchdowns. If the defense holds together, EIU should improve its record.”

So where does Eastern Illinois fit into the picture in the OVC and FCS? You can find out in the College Football America 2015 Yearbook, now on sale at amazon.com.
