The College Football America 2015 Yearbook is proud to announce that Carson-Newman kickoff returner Lonnie Williams has been named to the College Football America NCAA Division II Starting Lineup, CFA’s version of an All-America team.
Williams is listed as a quarterback on Carson-Newman’s roster. But as a redshirt freshman in 2014 he led the nation in yards per kickoff return (34.1) He also scored two touchdowns.
