2015 AFCA Division III Top 25 Poll: Week 1 Final

WACO, TEX.– Wisconsin-Whitewater and the Warhawks’ new coach have not missed a beat, starting off the new season with two strong performances after winning last season’s National Championship. The Warhawks defeated Finlandia (Mich.) on Saturday night, 66-3, with the help of eight rushing touchdowns, and are traveling to face-off against NAIA powerhouse Morningside (Iowa) in a Thursday night matchup. Mount Union (Ohio) came in second with five first place votes and Mary Hardin-Baylor (Texas) came in behind the Purple Raiders at third with one first place vote. Linfield (Ore.) and Wesley (Del.) round out the Top 5 with Wesley traveling to No. 22 North Central (Ill.) on Saturday. There are two other ranked match-ups this coming weekend, as No. 9 St. John’s (Minn.) will host No. 15 St. Thomas (Minn.) and No. 16 Wittenberg (Ohio) will host No. 11 Wabash (Ind.) on Saturday.
