Kansas Jayhawks logoBaylor BearsNo. 4/3 Baylor (4-0, 1-0, Big 12) at Kansas (0-4, 0-1), 11 a.m. CST, Saturday

TV: Fox Sports 1

Series record: Baylor leads series, 10-4.

Game preview: I can guarantee two things for this preview. First, I will not get carpal tunnel syndrome writing it. Second, Baylor will win handily. And I was taught never to guarantee anything in journalism school, so you get it, right? Baylor’s good and Kansas isn’t. It’s hard not to feel for Kansas head coach David Beaty. He’s been handed perhaps the worst program in the country and been given the monumental task to rebuild it. It won’t be easy. But his counterpart across the field on Saturday, Baylor coach Art Briles, knows the feeling. Baylor was not the prize inside the Cracker Jack box when Briles took over and now it’s one of the best programs in the country. So it can be done. And let’s not forget that it was only a decade ago that Kansas wormed its way into a BCS bowl game. For Kansas this game is about taking their lumps and learning to take a bad matchup and turning it into something less so. For Baylor it’s about winning and making sure no one gets hurt. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to have a Bear or two on your FanDuel team this weekend, either.

RandH Prediction: Baylor 70, Kansas 14.
