PINEVILLE, La. — Louisiana College got 282 yards passing and four touchdowns from quarterback Easton Melancon to lead the Wildcats to a 38-28 Homecoming victory over Sul Ross State.

The Wildcats jumped out to an early 17-7 lead and never trailed all afternoon, despite being out-gained, 328-282 yards.

Running back Aurren Cooksey tallied 97 yards and a touchdown for Louisiana College.

Sul Ross receiver Calvon Henderson had a big game with nine catches for 156 yards and a touchdown, while also completing a 5-yard pass on a pair of attempts.
