GREENWOOD, Ind. – It was a night for the defenses to shine under the bright lights of beautiful Ray Skillman Stadium.

Fortunately for the host Center Grove (Greenwood, IN) Trojans, the only defensive lapse of the night came following a second quarter punt by the visiting Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN) Fighting Irish. With the ball at midfield, the Trojans needed just one play to score when running back Jackson Hohlt broke free and raced untouched to the end zone to give Center Grove a 7-0 lead. That would prove to be the game’s final score as the Trojans put the wraps on their first undefeated regular season under 17-year head coach Eric Moore.
