INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Butler Bulldogs relied on a powerful run game combined with an efficient passing attack to overwhelm the Davidson Wildcats 38-7 Saturday at the Butler Bowl.

Matt Schiltz led the way with 218 yards passing on 22-of-33 attempts including a touchdown. A platoon of rushers meanwhile combined for 221 yards on 43 attempts including five Bulldogs with at least five carries. Duvante Lane was the most productive with 55 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.
