FALKVILLE, Ala. – On paper, it looked like an enticing matchup – the 9-0 Tanner (AL) Rattlers coming to town to face the 8-0 Falkville (AL) Blue Devils.

In the end, it proved to be just another small step in what is looking more and more like another undefeated run toward a possible state championship for Tanner. The Rattlers won back-to-back AHSAA Class AA titles in 2012 and 2013 after losing in the title game in 2011, and their 68-10 win over an unbeaten Falkville team Friday night serves notice that this is a team hungry to regain the title it lost last year.
