It’s RandHSports.com’s Week 10 Big 12 Conference review. TCU finally took a loss and now Oklahoma State looks like a significant factor in the Big 12 race. Baylor seemed to be OK without Seth Russell, and Oklahoma rolled on.
Records: Oklahoma State (9-0, 6-0 in Big 12); TCU (8-1, 5-1)
This loss really boiled down to turnovers. TCU committed four of them — quarterback Trevone Boykin threw four interceptions — and Oklahoma State committed none. So, even though TCU outgained Oklahoma State 663-456 and even though TCU possessed the ball seven minutes longer than OSU, the Cowboys still won. The Cowboys did a great job of turning those extra possessions into points. Quarterback Mason Rudolph had a tremendous game (352 yards passing, 5 touchdowns, 0 interceptions) and wide receiver James Washington had another huge game (5 receptions, 184 yards, 3 touchdowns). So who cares if OSU can’t run the football?
