ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Leading 56-0 just before halftime Saturday, the Henderson State coaching staff called a timeout to figure out a way to get some more.

Moments later it was 63-0 as both teams headed to the lockers with the message delivered loud and clear at Henderson State’s Carpenter-Haygood Stadium.

No mercy.

Not that the Southern Nazarene Crimson Storm expected any in a game they eventually lost by a count of 76-7. But the final seven points of the first half scoring blitz underscored the fact that the Reddies were going to go for the jugular whenever they had the chance.
