It’s RandHSports.com’s Week 11 Big 12 Conference review. TCU needed some guile to escape a monumental upset against Kansas, and the status of their star quarterback is unclear. While West Virginia stepped closer to bowl eligibility, Texas Tech finally clinched a berth. And Oklahoma State nearly relived its 2011 loss to Iowa State. Check out our Baylor-Oklahoma coverage in a separate story here at RandHSports.com.

Oklahoma State 35, Iowa State 31

Records: Oklahoma State (10-0, 7-0 in Big 12); Iowa State (3-7, 2-5).

Stillwater, Okla., doesn’t need a house of horrors when it has Ames, Iowa. The Cowboys darned near lost again as an undefeated team in a road game at Iowa State. Remember last time that happened? Back in 2011 when Oklahoma State was No. 2 in the nation and the loss destroyed the Cowboys’ national title game hopes? Well, this time the Cowboys survived, but not without graying head coach Mike Gundy’s hair a little bit.
