MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Oakland (Murfreesboro, TN) Patriots advanced to the second round of the TSSAA Class 6A playoffs with a 49-7 win over the William Bount (Maryville, TN) Governors Friday night.

William Blount struck first on a 38-yard Austin Myrick-to-Chase Nuchols scoring strike, but it took Oakland just one offensive play to answer when Brendan Matthews found JaCoby Stevens behind the Governors defense for a 60-yard scoring toss of his own. From there it was all Oakland as the Patriots improved to 10-1.

The College Football America 2015 Yearbook features 936 college football teams from the United States and Canada in 455 striking, full-color pages.
