It’s RandHSports.com’s Week 12 Big 12 Conference review. The league’s final undefeated team fell, with Oklahoma State losing to Baylor at home. Meanwhile, Oklahoma was banged up along the way, but the Sooners still beat TCU. West Virginia reached bowl eligibility and Kansas State stayed alive for a bowl game.

Records: Baylor (9-1, 6-1 in Big 12); Oklahoma State (10-1, 7-1).

Finally, 11 games into the season, the lack of a running game caught up to Oklahoma State. Baylor — which has the best ground game in the Big 12 — outgained the Cowboys 304-8. OSU couldn’t manufacture anything on the ground and it cost them dearly. Baylor dominated time of possession (35:29 to 24:31) and their defense did an amazing job on OSU, considering the Cowboys didn’t commit a turnover and Baylor committed three.
