I took an extended break there for the first five months of the year. Not from writing, but from posting to the blog here. We’re going to change that moving forward.
Today I’m posting my piece from CowboysHQ.com, where I now cover the Cowboys along with an amazing group of talent led by Mike Fisher. If you’re looking for a site that handles all things Cowboys, including breaking news, well-sourced stories, terrific analysis and opinion, this is the place for you.
My First and 10 piece is similar to the piece I used to write for RattleandHumSports (and don’t worry — I still work for them, just in different capacities). So I’ll try to make sure I post the link to First and 10 no later than Monday moving forward. Here’s one piece from today’s column:
- Second thing I’m interested in seeing during OTA’s next week? Kellen Moore throwing the football. Sure, Tony Romo is going to throw and we’re going to talk with him about that and his recovery from his injury. But let’s face it — Romo will be ready. As the Cowboys have made no move to bring in additional veterans to compete for the backup role, all eyes should be on Moore’s ability to throw the ball and the progress he’s made since last season. In fact, it’s one of the most important storylines to follow leading up to the season. My bet is Romo misses some time — hopefully not to the extent of last season — but that’s my bet.
