Three players from Mississippi Gulf Coast are among the honorees named to the College Football America 2016 Yearbook Juco Starting Lineup, CFA’s Junior College All-America team.
Arizona Western, ASA, CCSF, Merced and Santa Barbara City each had two players named to the team.
For Arizona Western, tight end Jeremy Patton and defensive back Keisean Nixon both earned spots. Patton had 17 receptions for 316 yards and four touchdowns as a freshman last season, while Nixon notched five interceptions.
ASA landed offensive lineman Badara Traore and defensive lineman Teair Tart-Spencer on the team. Trarore is a transfer from Nassau Community College. Tart-Spencer registered five sacks a season ago.
