Augusta, GA (September 6, 2016) – The Augusta Sports Council and Ray Guy Award are proud to announce Mitch Wishnowsky of the University of Utah as the Ray Guy Award Punter of the Week. Wishnowsky had a total of 6 punts for 333 yards in a home win against Southern Utah. He averaged 55.5 yards per punt with 2 punts marked inside the 20-yard line and 2 touchbacks. Wishnowsky had a net punting average of 46.8 and his long punt was 66 yards. 

Mitch Wishnowsky broke the University of Utah’s school record for punting average in a game this past weekend. The previous school record was made by two-time Ray Guy Award winner Tom Hackett.
