TYLER, Texas – Oklahoma quarterback, Baker Mayfield has been named The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award National Player of the Week for the fifth week of the college football season. The junior quarterback threw for two touchdowns and rushed for two touchdowns in a 52-46 win at 21st-ranked TCU. Mayfield was 23/30 passing with 274 yards and had 55 yards rushing. “I thought he was exceptional today”, said Head Coach Bob Stoops. “He threw some great balls deep for touchdowns and got some great third downs.” Baker Mayfield is a graduate of Lake Travis High School, Austin, Texas.
