The Top 50 FBS-FCS football teams for Week 6. Ranking is based on this week’s polls (Associated Press media / USA Today-American Football Coaches Association / National Football Foundation-Football Writers Association of America) and independent criteria. All of the schools play in the NCAA Football Bowls Subdivision (FBS) except North Dakota State, which is receiving votes in the AP media poll but is a member of the Missouri Valley Football Conference and will play in the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs.
