College Football America: Postscripts for Week 2

My weekly Postscripts column for College Football America is up at RoadTripSports.com. Here’s an excerpt:

My post-trip quick note. We have plenty of content coming at College Football America and RoadTripSports.com from our Week 2 travels. But for me, here are my quick notes on the stadium I visited last week:

Arkansas: Great sight lines from the top of the stadium to the bottom. There isn’t really a bad seat in the house, even though it will seat 80,000 by 2018. You can see the housing of the old stadium that they’ve built around on the home side, and it’s nice they’ve been able to keep that piece of history (you’ll notice its where the “Home of the Razorbacks” sign is). The experience inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, Frank Broyles Field, was great. The fans are right on top of you. It’s loud and there’s a lot of space around the stadium for tailgating, etc… You’re going to hear “Wooo Pig Sooie!” a lot, especially early in the game. So when they “Call the Hogs,” just know it’s coming. And the tribute to the late Frank Broyles during pre-game was exceptional.

Postscripts is my weekly wrap of the week that was on the road and in college football. Look for my travel news and notes here each Thursday, along with some of my opinions about what’s happening in the college game we all love.
