East Mississippi CC, the defending NJCAA national champion, is No. 1 in the 2019 College Football America Yearbook Juco Preseason Top 30, a combination of teams in the NJCAA and CCCAA.
East Mississippi won its second straight championship, defeating Garden City, 10-9. It was the Lions’ fifth national title in program history.
Garden City is right behind East Mississippi at No. 2. Riverside is the top CCCAA team in the Top 30 at No. 3, with Iowa Western and Butte rounding out the Top 5.
No. 6 Laney, No. 7 Jones County, No. 8 Northwest Mississippi, No. 9 Hutchinson and No. 10 Canyons round out the Top 10.
The 2019 College Football America Yearbook features more than 930 college football teams from the United States and Canada in more than 250 striking, full-color pages. That includes every team from the NCAA (FBS, FCS, Division II and Division III), NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA and U Sports (Canada). It also includes updates on club football, one-year postgraduate prep/sports academies and Mexican college football, along with dozens of action shots and stadium photos taken by the CFAY staff.
