The 2019 College Football America Yearbook is out now at Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com and provides a preview for more than 900 college football teams and more than 90 college football conferences.
For the next several days we are providing excerpts from our FBS conference previews.
Today you’ll find an excerpt from our Big Ten Conference preview below, written by Matthew Postins:
It would appear the stars have aligned for Jim Harbaugh and Michigan.
Why? Well, the quarterback situation appears to have finally sorted itself out with Shea Patterson. Harbaugh has recruited well and has talent back at every key position. And that head coach at “That School Down South” finally retired (for now).
Wolverine fans are happy, but not satisfied. After all, Harbaugh has brought three 10-win seasons in four years at the helm. But Go Blue fans don’t get out of bed for bowl games. They get out of bed for Big Ten championship games and national championships. Harbaugh has delivered neither to Ann Arbor, and that’s why his seat is getting a tad bit toasty right now.
All the more reason to win now. The timing couldn’t be better.
Need more? Postins looks at other reasons why Michigan should be considered a favorite this year, why Ohio State could still be a thorn in the Wolverines’ side and how the Big Ten West Division race might shake out.
The Big Ten Conference preview includes all 2018 results, all 2019 schedules, a 2019 conference Starting Lineup, a Gameday Experience recap of Ohio State’s Ohio Stadium and photos of each stadium from our travels around the conference.
The 2019 College Football America Yearbook features more than 930 college football teams from the United States and Canada in more than 250 striking, full-color pages. That includes every team from the NCAA (FBS, FCS, Division II and Division III), NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA and U Sports (Canada). It also includes updates on club football, one-year postgraduate prep/sports academies and Mexican college football, along with dozens of action shots and stadium photos taken by the CFAY staff.
