The 2019 College Football America Yearbook is out now at Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com and provides a preview for more than 900 college football teams and more than 90 college football conferences.
For the next several days we are providing excerpts from our FCS conference previews.
Today you’ll find an excerpt from our Northeast Conference preview below, written by Kendall Webb:
Long Island is actually combining the athletic programs at its LIU-Brooklyn and LIU-Post campuses. The Division I Blackbirds of Brooklyn didn’t have a football team, but the Division II Pioneers at the Post campus did. The combined program has been rebranded as the Sharks and will compete at the Division I FCS level in football.
Merrimack, meanwhile, has a Division I hockey program, but the entire athletics program will now move up to the Division I level. The Warriors will compete as independents in football this fall before joining the league in 2020.
Need more? Webb takes a look past the changes to see who the NEC favorite is for 2019.
The Northeast preview includes all 2018 results, all 2019 schedules, a Gameday Experience recap of Sacred Heart and capsules on each league team.
The 2019 College Football America Yearbook features more than 930 college football teams from the United States and Canada in more than 250 striking, full-color pages. That includes every team from the NCAA (FBS, FCS, Division II and Division III), NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA and U Sports (Canada). It also includes updates on club football, one-year postgraduate prep/sports academies and Mexican college football, along with dozens of action shots and stadium photos taken by the CFAY staff.
The print edition is available online via Amazon.com and other major retailers such as Barnes & Noble and Books-A-Million.
