The 2019 College Football America Yearbook is out now at Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com and provides a preview for more than 900 college football teams and more than 90 college football conferences.
For the next several days we are providing excerpts from our FCS conference previews.
Today you’ll find an excerpt from our SWAC preview below, written by Kendall Webb:
Regardless of where the league championship game is played this fall, it’s highly likely that Alcorn State will be there again for a sixth straight year. The offense is loaded with one of the nation’s top dual-threat quarterbacks in Noah Johnson pulling the trigger again. Johnson threw for 2,207 yards a year ago, but also topped the 1,000-yard mark in rushing with 1,080 yards. Running back De’Shawn Waller also ran for more than a grand with 1,206 yards and 12 touchdowns. The defense is loaded with talent, too, and the Braves should cruise to the SWAC East title.
Need more? Webb writes about the favorites in the West Division.
The SWAC preview includes all 2018 results, all 2019 schedules, a Gameday Experience recap of Grambling State and capsules on each league team.
The 2019 College Football America Yearbook features more than 930 college football teams from the United States and Canada in more than 250 striking, full-color pages. That includes every team from the NCAA (FBS, FCS, Division II and Division III), NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA and U Sports (Canada). It also includes updates on club football, one-year postgraduate prep/sports academies and Mexican college football, along with dozens of action shots and stadium photos taken by the CFAY staff.
The print edition is available online via Amazon.com and other major retailers such as Barnes & Noble and Books-A-Million.
